FINANCIAL & LEGAL ADVICE Many buyers make the mistake of assuming their local out of town bank, broker or solicitor understands the complexities of buying a property in Central London. Although some can and do succeed in the process many more fail their clients and cause major problems and even the loss of the property. Many people will shy away from things they do not understand, and often they will not admit this to the client. As a result we see many solicitors and banks giving poor advice on things they really have little understanding or experience in. We as agents see this day in and day out and although it is up to you to trust an estate agent we do advise every buyer and seller to look into the advice they are receiving and ideally find specialists that have dealt with such sales before. A valuation from a company based in Milton Keynes is not really going to have the same in depth knowledge of Pimlico as a surveyor in Westminster and so on. So we recommend you question your advisors on this matter and keep them on their toes.
